Volunteers from the Trail & Town Alliance install signs provided by the Harpers Ferry Parks & Recreation Commission on the Ridge Street Trail.
March 3, 2026 Trail & Town

The Ridge Street Trail is a little gem in Harpers Ferry. Used primarily by locals, it connects East Ridge Street to West Ridge Street. It’s 1/3 of a mile long and includes a stream crossing.

The Trail & Town Alliance spearheaded this project and built the trails, with support from Harpers Ferry’s Parks & Recreation Commission, which provided signage.

The best way to find this trail is by visiting the corner park across from the Harpers Ferry post office (formerly known as the Woman’s Club Park). If you can’t walk to the trail, the best place to park is on Washington Street, using metered parking.
